Discovering Greenpoint

We've been taking Saturday's to explore different neighborhoods in NY. This week it's Greenpoint, just north of our hood, Williamsburg. Its more industrial, a bit more quiet and has some really cute restaurants and homes. Mac did well on the 2 1/2 hour jaunt... he's the best.

Love this collab between street artists  Leonardo Delafuente (aka Delafuente) and Anderson Augusto (aka SÃO). They took the boring street gutter and turned it into characters or fun objects to add color and charm to drab city scenes. Check out the rest here.

We went to Rolf's last weekend and it felt like u were in the MIDDLE of a Christmas Tree!

If this place and spiked eggnog can't get you in the holiday spirit, I'm not sure what can.

My Morning

This morning The L train had massive delays in both directions. We walked out of the station and tried to hail a cab with loads of other people. While also trying to call for a car -- with loads of other people. So we decided to walk a half mile to the ferry and cross the river to then catch a bus. Bus was too crowded so we walked 5 avenues and 15 blocks because all the cabs were off duty or taken. I'm exhausted. 

Dammit

... I wish that I had thought of this!
